Theodore Jacques Beaumont III
Theodore Jacques Beaumont III came from an impressive lineage of well-bred Canadian moose. However, the wealth his family had acquired seemed only partially to trickle down to Theodore. That is until one day in 1903 when he heard that his distant uncle Davies, who resided in the UK, had suddenly and sadly passed away. Uncle Davies had bequeathed to him a small holding of land in the Welsh town of Brecon; along with this parcel of land came the title of 'Squire.'
So Squire Beaumont, unencumbered at the time, packed and departed for Wales.
Unfortunately, despite his best attempts to assimilate, Theodore couldn't gain the respect of the tightly-knit Welsh community. Generally mistrusting of strangers, the people of Brecon were further alarmed by Theodore's appearance. They had never seen a moose before.
He valiantly tried to fit in, buying all the right clothes to signify that he was gentry but approachable. He bought rounds at the local pub and attended summer fetes. But all for naught... until one damp Sunday afternoon, when everything changed.
Theodore Beaumont was taking his afternoon stroll down to the stream. It had been raining heavily the night before, and the sound of cold water rushing over the rocks was mesmerizing to him. Feeling melancholy, he reflected on how it had all gone wrong and how he would never be accepted as a Squire. However, he was woken from his thoughts by the screaming of a young voice. He saw a small object bobbing and floundering as it was carried away down the stream. Theodore instinctively sprung into action. He was a moose. He was used to the harsh, cold waters of the Canadian Rockies. He galloped ahead, strode across the stream, and lowered his massive antlers into the water. The youngster was scooped up to safety, and Theodore heroically walked back into town with the soaked child, craddled in his antlers.
That night, the locals bought him rounds, patted him on his muscular back, and wholeheartedly accepted him into their community. Finally he was known to all as 'Squire Beaumont III'.

An inherited artifact from a mysterious benefactor? Or perhaps revealed in a long abandoned attic, lying at the bottom of a chest. Buried beneath old dusty clothes and fading handwritten notes.
